Join the Koshland Science Museum at the DC Mini Maker Faire, organized by the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellows. Bring your friends and family to learn about making and engage in activities where you create and innovate! Make a simple circuit using everyday household supplies at the Koshland's booth.
The DC Mini Maker Faire follows in the footsteps of recent mini maker faires in Silver Spring and Northern Virginia. The goal of the DC faire is to Show (and Tell) the world about the diversity of makers in the local community.
Maker Faire is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness. It's a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
Activities are being organized by various community organizations, including the federal and local government, non-profits, and other organizations. The Faire will be held outdoors at the Yards Park, 355 Water Street, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20003.
